Pausing
Pausing is one of the most powerful tools available. Whether you are reading the passage, having the picture conversation or are in a conversation, PAUSE frequently.
It gives time for people to process the information that you are sending, it keeps people hanging on your next word and it keeps people interested to what you have to say.
