Even though Singlish is an amalgamation of different languages, we can definitely speak better Singlish by taking the first step to better pronounce some commonly mispronounced English words that we may use on a day-to-day basis.

The list is but the tip of the iceberg to the many commonly used words that we continue to mispronounce.
Speaking well does not have to be strange or peculiar to us. It is only so because we make it seem that way – that speaking properly or pronouncing our words right is difficult and we should therefore avoid the hassle of it altogether.
We can always begin by making these small changes to the way we speak. Remember these commonly mispronounced words and don’t forget to pronounce them correctly the next time you use them!
